Backed up by SCHULER consultancy, Moll Funktionsmöbel converted its container assembly into a pull principle based assembly. The conversion was prepared in an optimization workshop. The output of the assembly line could be increased by more than 20%.

Factory design in China – a successful cooperation story

The new kitchen furniture factory of Optima was designed and implemented with SCHULER. Subsequently the engineers optimized the processes and trained the staff. The result: low work-in-process, reliable delivery dates and a significant capacity increase.
