HOMAG Group AG, Schopfloch and imos AG, Herford, are to form a new enterprise. HOMAG eSOLUTION will start business in January 2011 providing software solutions for furniture production – tailored to HOMAG Group machines and equipment.
The decisive factor in HOMAG Group AG’s choice of imos AG as partner for the new enterprise was the longstanding close cooperation based on mutual trust with the Herford software specialist. imos is considered by the industry to be one of the leading IT providers with regard to linking machine technology to IT systems and implementation of an uninterrupted data flow within a company.
