The 4 series
Fully automated cutting with state-of-the-art technology – that is what the new angular system of the 4 series, the HKL 430, has to offer. With automated feeding, a saw blade projection of 125 mm and cutting lengths of up to 5600 mm, it is designed for finish cut quality on a grand scale. All this at an attractive price-performance ratio and with a relatively small space requirement. In all this, it remains true to the slogan of the 4 series of "focusing on the essential".
The 5 series
The new angular systems of the 5 series have been tuned for maximum performance and are especially suitable for industrial use. With saw blade projections of 130 mm (HKL 530), 150 mm (HKL 550) and 170 mm (HKL 570) and cutting lengths of up to 5600 mm, they can easily handle even the largest books. Furthermore, these angular systems use technologies specially developed for the 5 series – the machine base made of SORB TECH mineral casting, the specially designed saw carriage with many technical niceties for maximum precision, the newly developed clamps – and much more, for example …

Systems Engineering
On request, HOLZMA can also incorporate the 5 series angular systems in complete production lines or "merely" connect them to storage systems. The machine builder supports customers with its team of experienced specialists from the "Systems Engineering" department. Before purchasing this type of system, the calculations from the HOLZMA simulation software provide confidence in the investment.
Optional extras
There is a wide range of additional equipment for all four angular systems, which allows the customer to tailor the system to his individual requirements. This includes, for instance, various roller conveyors, lift tables and destacking solutions as well as fully-automatic waste removal. Also available are other special options such as postforming, grooving or stress-elimination cuts, the world-leading HOLZMA optimisation software Cut Rite with various modules and much more.
